The Truth about Ice Cubes Meeting With President Trump


For the last few days Rapper Ice Cube has taken a lot of heat in regards to his meeting with President Donald Trump. Ice cube finally breaks his silence, and spoke to Journalist Roland Martin’s Unfiltered show on October 15, 2020. Ice Cube states that his “Contract With Black America,” plan he unveiled earlier this year that addressed racial inequality for Black Americans. “Ice cube stated he never met with President Trump or ever been to the White House.“ “Cube states he does not trust either party, and that he is going by action.”

Ice Cube states both parties reached out to him about his “Contract with Black America. The Republican Party loved what he had, and made adjustments to their “ Platinum Plan” that included initiatives such as “Neighborhoods with the highest policing standards” and replacing failing schools with “full school choice.” The Democratic Party stated they loved the plan but rather discuss it after the election. Cube states that he is willing to work with both teams to get the job done.

During the interview with Roland Martin Ice Cube was asked who did he specifically speak with about the “Platinum Plan.” He stated he didn’t know who she was. He was referring to Trumps campaign senior advisor Katrina Pierson who made a tweet Wednesday Thanking him for helping Trump develop his Platinum Plan. “Roland Martin asked Cube if he felt the Republican Party used him for their purposes as opposed to what happened.“

Ice Cube stated “Look, I knew whoever I engaged would use that politically. I don’t care about that part. The Part I care about is getting the Job done.” Overall the interview despite reviews was a great interview however Ice Cube has been open to all grassroots working with him but up until Ice Cubes meeting how many took that offer?
