Detroit Doll Show Celebrating the Beauty Of Black Culture


The Detroit Doll show made its return back to Maryrove Conservancy hosted by “Sandy’s Land LLC” is a yearly event started in 2012 of local, and national vendors showcasing black dolls in all shades of black, different shades, and different textures,. The shows organizer Sandra Epps mission is to “celebrate history, self love, and diversity with promotion of dolls of color.” The show included forums with topics of pride and hot topics on colorism.

If you missed out on this annual Doll show you missed a treat. The Detroit Doll show also included dolls for young men, and action figures. Every aspect of this show was represented the Black Experience there were arts and crafts, black owned food truck! The Black Economic Exchange Group has attend this show since 2012 every year there is always something new exciting. This show brings self love, and self pride to our communities.
