Founded in 2018 the Black Economic Exchange Group mission is to “Rebuild Black Wall Street one Brick at a time!” The first thing Crystal Rice-Jenkins, the founder and CEO, did was highlight Black-owned businesses both locally and online. Within the first year on social media she received over 100,000 organic views.
The goal grew to include Black Business directories, affiliate marketing, pop up shops, weekly blogs on breaking news. Upcoming projects include The Big Black Book Volume 2 (Online only) that will include an Entertainment and shopping guide for the NFL draft, and Volume 3 update Metro Detroit “Big Black Book” Black Owned Businesses.
